At my fully enclosed, climate-controlled 3,000-square-foot training facility, I offer customized programs tailored to your dog’s unique needs. These programs include on and off-leash obedience, puppy head start, resource guarding, behavioral modification, canine socialization, anxiety rehabilitation, and the development of positive lifelong habits.
I work with dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, using a personalized approach shaped by over two decades of professional experience. My training incorporates proven techniques to deliver lasting results. Alongside training your dog, I equip you with the tools and knowledge to maintain their obedience, manage behavior effectively, and strengthen the bond you share.

ABOUT THE TRAINER
My name is Dan Kaase, owner and lead trainer at West Texas Dog Trainer LLC. With decades of experience training law enforcement, companion, and hunting dogs, I’m dedicated to strengthening the lifelong bond between dogs and their owners. My philosophy centers on creating well-mannered, dependable canine companions while giving owners the knowledge and skills to be confident, compassionate leaders.
Unlike large-scale franchises with generic programs, I customize every training plan to match your dog’s individual needs, temperament, and learning style. As the sole trainer working with your dog, I provide hands-on attention and direct communication throughout the process. Molly. Molly Molly MOLLY. Mom just had to have a puppy. Had to pick the most “active” one! Then found herself at 81 being bullied by a nine pound terror. Biting, that started almost immediately, jumping not only on the furniture but ACROSS the furniture to the kitchen counter. Couldn’t catch her and make her go outside… mom can’t move that fast! She was AWEFUL. Mom was in tears more than she was enjoying Molly. Then along came DAN!! And after our little crack head went to train with him, She came out a new dog… still Molly but trainable. DAN SAVED OUR DOGS LIFE! Our Nala had extreme anxiety, and unusual ticks that we could not explain. This caused many behavioral issues at home that resulted in chaos in our household. There was no peace with her behavior. Dan’s ATTENTION TO DETAIL and care for our dog, resulted in his recommendation in taking her to a vet for a physical check up. Which, Dan did himself! Unfortunately, we got a hard diagnosis that at her very young age she had severe generative hip dysplasia, which was causing her ticks and erratic behavior. While this has been very difficult for our family to process, without Dan we would have never understood all the signs she was giving us with her behavior or known there was a deeper issue! He trained her alongside our second dog who also came home completely transformed. But more than that, he’s the reason our dog will no longer live in pain that went undiagnosed for almost 3 years.
